Non-existent support and beware of being over-charged or repeatedly charged despite cancelling your account I briefly had their hosting service but when the contract came around for review, I decided to cancel and go with another provider. However, Planet Hippo did not want me to leave so they continued to access my credit card and charge me for an account I had closed. Thus far calling them, live chat and email support have failed. I am promised that they will "look into it" but the only response I receive from them is a statement stating that this medium level support ticket is closed. I agree whole heatedly with the recent reviewer that no one seems to read a support ticket because all you receive is a canned response. Seriously, isn't accessing a client's stored credit card information months, nay, nearly a year after they cancelled worthy of a considered response? Apparently, not in their case. All they have done is close the ticket and ignore it. My bank is having to step in.
