We sent this Client copious reminders that his services were due for renewal as we always do, a month before renewal. He had his services set to `auto renew' but ignored our reminders. He thought that by just ignoring reminders and instructing us to autorenew we would be able to read his mind and know that really he didn't want to renew. Go figure. Most hosting companies run a referral system, it's called an affiliate programme. If Clients are happy with our service, they recommend us to others and earn an affiliate commission. There's nothing illegal or illicit about this. Of course there are cheap hosting companies out there, our advice is to check them all out. You get what you pay for. We wish this ex-Client luck in his future endeavours but would advise him to always cancel directly with the company if he wants to cancel, rather than just ignore reminders, so that the hosting company don't go ahead and renew services, as I suspect they won't be able to read minds either.
