Domains and at a great price, though an issue arises when you only want a domain with no hosting; SSL certificates don't see to work with domains (with no hosting) and you aren't t told this during purchase. I tried to get a refund, but it wasn't possible due to their terms, so I let it go. Not really happy about that particular experience.

Betahost should not be trusted with their words... They treat you friendly in beginning, then you get unimaginable attitude later. They can coldly boycott your services without even informing you. They don't just care. Forget it, don't be tricked. Firsthand/gained experience.
We apologies for hick-up, in the history of the company this is the first time we had this issue of loosing files and db due to disk failure. Let me remind you that our terms of services in Section 17.1 state that, you are responsible for your files and database hosted on your account, beta host will not hold responsible for any lost of file and DB. In this case we expect you to keep backup of your files in your local system since the server you are using is been shared among thousands of customers.
Note: Only one of the server where your is hosted has this issue of disk drive and which don't have backup config. The rest of the server has auto backup in-case of server crash like this.
